Where is EJB 3 lite in JBoss AS 6 ?

    younglearner25

      Hi all JBoss users,

I'd like to use a limited set of JEE Api for my enterprise application and EJB3 lite would match exactly.

My question is, is there an out of the box JBoss AS server configured for EJB3 lite ? (The jbossweb-standalone server configuration ?)

      Thanks a lot

          That's just for JSP/Servlets

The "default" has all the EJB3 lite functionality (plus some more).

Hello Jaikiran, thanks for your reply. Actually I thought that there was an available server configuration with *just* EJB lite features. For example supposing I don't need MDB or EJB 2.x compatibility (as stated in EJB 3 lite), it's my job to remove the configuration files from the "default" server configuration, right ?

            Thanks a lot

There isn't a out-of-box profile with just the EJB3.1 lite features.

Yes, you would have to trim it down yourself. Ofcourse, you can ask for help in the forums here. As a start, see if this thread helps http://community.jboss.org/message/581850
