richfaces ListShuttle-Gettin the selected row in target List

Hi,
I am trying to obtain the currently selected item in target List since i need it for some other processing.I thought ill use active item attribute but it always gets null.
I dont need the entire target List but only the selected row..Im sure there are listeners for this but i dont know how to go about it and what to use.Please help me.

sourceSelection and targetSelection attributes could be used the same as corresponding value attributes.

Thank you very much for your response but i also want the data of the row.The targetSelection attributes need a java.util.set value.It does not seem to be getting the value i need.

Yes, It's a set and this set contains selected Objects.
