How to define my own rf 3.3.1 custom components.

Due to a dependency on richfaces 3.3.1 and JSF 1.2 moving to rf 4 isn't possible in my companies current capacity.

Given this, I have a few richfaces based dialog classes that I'd like to define in a custom library and reuse them across multiple applications. I've hunted around but can't find a definitive guide on how to implement and inject a user defined library using rf 3.3.1

I've seen some docs providing this information for 4.x but not for 3.3.1

Reuse via copy and paste isn't my idea of a great design. Can someone point me in the right direction for this?

richfaces components are written on top of jsf components. so it is bascially jsf provides the flexability to write components.

go ahead and read core javaserver faces 3 rd editon, guiding you how you can create composite components.

There are three ways:

1) custom composit component with facelets 1.2

2) custom JSF 1.2 component - very painful development I should say =)
