I have a website using Seam/RichFaces and on an input page, am using rich:editor. The customer wants us to take the first sentence entered into the editor field and use that as a sort of "title" for the submission. This is used elsewhere in the site.
If the users format what they put into the editor, doesn't that submit HTML code with their text to the database? What is the best way to assure I keep a text-only version of what they type into that editor, without them seeing/being aware of it, so I can use it elsewhere?
