Is it possible to have access to the element I clicked in a dataList ?
(an event like: onSelectItem or something similar)

Is dataList just for displaying some data or I can interact with it?

Let's say i want tot delete or update the element i select from the dataList. Is it possible?

As you could see from demo - you defines the markup inside the dataList. so just add the link here for example here. Or add support.

Put a4j:commandLink or a4j:support inside rich:dataList. It will be called in the context of the particular item.
