Gate-in Server installieren (ger/en)

Hallo,

mein Aufgabe ist im Moment Gate-In auf einem JBoss Server zu installieren. Dieser JBoss Server kam bei mir out-of-the-box mit Eclipse und Seam. Ich möchte gerne noch Gate-In einfügen und frage mich nun wie man das macht. Vielleicht könnt ihr mir helfen wie das geht. Ich bin noch ein totaler Anfänger mit JBoss kenne mich aber sehr gut mit Java aus.

my Job for now is to install a Gate-In "Plug-in" on a JBoss Server. This JBoss Server came with Eclipse and Seam out of the box. I have to insert the Gate-in Plugin and got no idea how to do. May you help me and explain me how to do that. I am a JBoos noob but got very good experiences with Java.

I suppose you could unzip the GateIn download that comes with JBoss AS, then compare all the files in there with all the files in your JBoss install, and try copy-and-pasting all the missing pieces over to your current JBoss folders.

At a minimum you will need:

1. The /conf/gatein folder

2. The /deploy/gatein.ear folder

3. The /deploygatein-ds.xml file

4. The /deploy/starter-gatein.ear file

Nope, it dosn't work.

But its not a problem anymore. I use the GateIn AS right now, and customized my Eclipse. That wasn't as hard as customize the entire AS
