I've got a problem with a modalPanel. I've written a modalPanel containing a rich:dataTable which is sortable und has filters. The data iteration works, but if i type something into a filter-field all editable fields will be set to null and an entity-update will be done with these null-values. The filterValue doesn't work, the debugger doesn't go into the bean method.
If I copy the dataTable to my home.xhtml page it works. Only on the modalPanel the dataTable doesn't work exactly.
Has somebody an idea what could go wrong?
