I have a rich:component which takes as a value a list from the backing bean.
Is it possible to print out with <h:outputText> or something else, only some of the objects from the list and not all of them, based on some condition?

I guess you do not mean rich:component function.
Yes, use rendered="#{...condition to check...}"
