JBoss AS 6 as a Windows service: not in services list

Hello,

I'm desparately trying to get JBoss AS 6 to run as a Windows (7 64bit) service, pretty much the same as described here:

However, I can start the server via a "service.bat start" command (Cygwin) without errors, but this somehow misses the point of the Windows service. So, has anybody found a solution as to why the service doesn't appear in the Windows services list after a "service.bat install" command?

As ever so often, one last idea comes after posting your problem...

The solution was to open up a command shell by using admin rights: right-click on the target, select "Run as Admininstrator..." (shield icon) and enter "service.bat install" from there. Note you might have to reopen/refresh your Task Manager or Service Window.

Thank you. I can't beleive I missed that as I have had to deal with "run as admin" with other things yesterday.
