@Service Annotation Prblm with EJB

Hi ,

I'm using @Service EJB in my program, in the same program i have used @EJB annotation to call the ejb methjods, used @Depends so that my ejb get deployed first then the Service will be started, the dependey doesn't work and it throws Deployement Exception

Q: does the DI is supported in the @Service(org.jboss.ejb3.annotation.Service) Ejb's

Which version of JBoss AS?

It's JBoss AS 6, and i'm deploying in farm folder,

You are using the wrong annotation for AS6. Starting AS5, those JBoss EJB3 annotations have been moved to org.jboss.ejb3.annotation.* package. So you should be using @org.jboss.ejb3.annotation.Service. You can find these annotations in JBOSS_HOME/client/jboss-ejb3-ext-api.jar file.

have changed the Annotion getting the same exception attached log file in the Original post

public class TestService {

        @EJB(mappedName="ejb/TestEjb")
        TestEjb testejb;
}

It can't inject a TestEjbImpl into TestService.testEjb. TestEjb is not a business view.
