3. Extended data table getTableState is not working as expected
hgk Mar 16, 2011 9:26 PM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Ilya,
The following code works. But I have to keep DiagnosticsListPage in session scope. There are other issues if binding is ponting to object in session. How can I access UIExtendedDataTable instance from my backing bean without binding to UIExtendedDataTable?
Thanks,
Bindu
<rich:menuItem submitMode="ajax" action="#{DiagnosticsListPage.resetState}" />
<rich:extendedDataTable binding="#{DiagnosticsListPage.tableComponent}".../>
public void resetState()
{
String tableState = "{\"columnsVisibility\":{},\"columnGroupingState\":{}...";
((UIExtendedDataTable)tableComponent_).resetState();
}
public void setTableComponent(UIComponent component)
{
tableComponent_ = component;
}
public UIComponent getTableComponent()
{
return (tableComponent_);
