    rich:calendar design discussion

I'd like to open a discussion for design improvements to the calendar control.  For the most part, I find that the calendar works, but time selection is awkward.  This awkwardness is even more pronounced with Apply disabled.  I'd like to see the time available for setting without requring double engagement and having it layer on top of the calendar.  I think this action negatively affects entry time for volume users such as call center workers.

I saw an interesting jquery calendar with time selection during an ASP.NET MVC presentation by Scott Hanselman, but I haven't found it elsewhere yet.

just try to use ondateselected attribute and call the timePicker popup using JS api. And it should be opened immediatelly.

And about usage without Apply - that even should not be tried It's a requirement that without apply button selection should be made immediatelly without any other user actions required
