in particular you should be able to do:
Client client = ClientProxy.getClient(port);
HTTPConduit http = (HTTPConduit) client.getConduit();
TLSClientParameters parameters = new TLSClientParameters();
parameters.setSSLSocketFactory(myCoolFactory);
conduit.setTlsClientParameters(parameters);
