20. Re: Problems with rich:orderedList
kash_meu Jun 9, 2009 5:24 AM (in response to kash_meu)I have fixed the issue.
I updated the getAsObject function in the converter as follows.public Object getAsObject(FacesContext context, UIComponent component, String name) { HtmlOrderingList htmlOrderingList = (HtmlOrderingList)component; List<CategoryBackingBean> list = (List<CategoryBackingBean>)htmlOrderingList.getValue(); for (CategoryBackingBean category : list) { if(category.getName().equals(name)) { return category; } } return null; }

21. Re: Problems with rich:orderedList
kash_meu Jun 9, 2009 5:30 AM (in response to kash_meu)Now I have another problem. The page is submitting fine. But the problem is that I changed the order of the Items in the orderedList using the Control buttons. But when I submit the page and print the List, the ordering does not reflect. Instead, it displays the original ordering. I even tried using selection attribute, but the Set has all the null elements in it.
