2. rich:panelMenu expandSingle not working
juankprada Mar 21, 2011 10:23 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)oh, right, I forgot. I'm using RF4 CR1 and I know it works on the showcase, but also I must say I looked in the code of the panelMenu sample and there is no expandSingle parameter defined. Is it set to true by default? (not specifying it doesnt work for me either).
Thanks Ilya

ilya_shaikovsky Mar 22, 2011 4:50 AM (in response to juankprada)hm.. that's really strange. here is the issue and according to commits should be in CR1 :/ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-10517 .. Maybe check server caches?

4. rich:panelMenu expandSingle not working
juankprada Mar 22, 2011 8:34 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)I'm nos really sure if that bug is related to my issue, but it's my fault for not explaining the situation right. In the showcase, I see an example of panelMenu in which each time you click on a panelMenuGroup, the others collapse and so a single panelMenuGroup is expanded at a time. According to docs, to get that behaviour, you must set the expandSingle parameter to true, but in showcase there is no such parameter specified in the code (if it is, I havent gound it) and then I set the parameter in my code but i don't get that behaviour. Does the mode parameter has anything to do with it?... does it only work for client or ajax?
Thanks :-)

6. Re: rich:panelMenu expandSingle not working
juankprada Mar 23, 2011 8:33 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Thanks for your reply.
I checked the bug report, and I see it only happens when groupMode is set to "server". As you can see in my code I didnt set groupMode but just mode="client" and I think groupMode is set by default to "client" right? So it should work in my case. I must also say that I checked this behaviour with Mojarra 2.0 and MyFaces 2.0 (the ones that came bundled with JBoss AS6).
Thanks
EDIT: I just looked in Jira and there is already a bug report for this issue [https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-10626], so I guess it concludes this thread.
Thanks Ilya for your help
