Jboss 6 binary ZIP file invalid

    mearturo01

      Hi

I have tried to download Jboss 6, but I can't expand the file, the compress tool indicates that it's corrupted.

I tried several tools, several mirrors, several workstations and the resuklt is the same.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks a lot

I haven't seen anyone complain yet and there have been numerous downloads so far. Have you downloded the checksum file and compared the it with the downloaded zip?

            Hi

            Thanks for the fast response.

As a matter of fact, I have a problem with all the files, with the exception of the source version.

Any help will be really appreciated.

bin works for me. You must have a bit-rot somewhere.

Do you have a direct internet access or do you behind a proxy/firewall/webwasher wall?

I've had the problem that a download crash and the company proxy provide always the corrupted file.

                  Hi

Yes, I am behind a firewall.  I never thought about this.

I'll try tonight at home and I'll update this.

Thanks a lot for your help

What OSes are you running? Exactly what tools have you tried? On Windows, with either WinZip or 7-Zip installed, I can right-click the zip file in Explorer and choose one of the unpack options. On Ubuntu, I can right-click the file and select unpack here. I could use the unzip tool from the command line if I wanted. I also suspect that I could use the jar utility to unpack it (though I don't know if that would also yield the emtpy directories).

                      Hi all

I tried this at home, where I have a direct internet connection, and I had no problems at all.

The issue is the firewall in my office, I'll check this with the infrastructure guys.

                      Thanks a lot.
