Do I have to pay to use JBoss EAP in production?

      Hi everybody !

I'm working with a indutrial middleware (a MES, this tool is a kind of toolbox to build manufacturing applications) which has to be deployed on a JBoss EAP 4.3CP02.

I don't understand how it works to use JBoss EAP. Do I need to have a subscription ?

On redhat website, we can download a "30 days trial versions", but this version is still working after few month. Does it mean that I can have access to redhat support only for 30 days ? Or do I have to uninstall this version after 30 days ?

For example, If I buy a 1 year subscription, does it mean that I have only one year support, or does it mean that I will have to uninstall JBoss after 1 year ?

I really don't understand this system of subscription :'(

I don't know if it's the good place for this topic, so please forgive if it is not

      Thanks by advance
