What authorization framework to use?

Hi, I wonder what authorization framework is recommended to use by PicketLink? I looked into Authz, but it appears that Authz has been inactive for a while (last release was Oct 2009?).

Authz sits on top of our XACML engine. You can either do authz api or go low level into the xacml api.
