1. How to access passed parameter in modalPanel
boy18nj Apr 3, 2011 8:35 PM (in response to satyakatti)Instead of doing this way-
<rich:componentControl for="imagePanel" operation="show" event="onclick">
<f:param value="../images/DSCN0965.JPG" name="imagePath"/>
</rich:componentControl>
do this way-
call the javascript function and you can pass parameters to it.

2. How to access passed parameter in modalPanel
satyakatti Apr 4, 2011 3:27 AM (in response to boy18nj)Hi,
That didnt work for me.
How would I access the parameter value in modalPanel, is it like : "{imagePath} or #{imagePath} or ${imagePath}".
All those above mentioned ways are not fetching the values for me.
Is there any other way in which I can get the value?
I also had a look at similar post, but the link in that is not working : http://community.jboss.org/message/50787?tstart=0

Satya

ilya_shaikovsky Apr 4, 2011 7:52 AM (in response to satyakatti)for custom options only processing using custom JS possible for now. Client Templating feature still in planning.
see http://community.jboss.org/message/596627#596627 (pay attention to changing header using jQuery call.)

4. How to access passed parameter in modalPanel
satyakatti Apr 4, 2011 11:31 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Finally I could do this using javascript.
Here it is :
<h:graphicImage value="../images/DSCN0965.JPG"
height="50" width="50" styleClass="iconClass"
onclick="javascript:updateImageSrc(this);Richfaces.showModalPanel('imageModalPanel');"/>
function updateImageSrc(imgObj) {
document.getElementById('idImageTag').src = imgObj.src;
}
