Log4j configuration reloable on JBoss 6.0.0 final

Hey everyone,

I'm new using JBoss and I was wondering if there's a way to reload automatically the log4j configuration on the 6.0 final version of JBoss.

While browsing this, I've found that in previous version of JBoss, it was possible to use a specific service to reload a specific log4j configuration every X second (60 per default).

Does this exists in the 6.0 ? I don't find the service in question anymore (Log4jService something like that).

There's no MBean to do that in AS 6. Instead you can change the contents (or even touch it to change the last modified timestamp of the file) of JBOSS_HOME/server/<servername>/deploy/jboss-logging.xml and let the hot deployer redeploy it.
