4. Localization problem in RichFaces 4 (JSF 2)
jbalunas Apr 5, 2011 8:53 AM (in response to iabughosh)Although supporting rtl was not a primary focus in this release, it was tested, and most of the components should work fine with that. I know of a couple of issues, but other than that should be ok.
Question: Have you tried this with just straight JSF? Does it function correctly?

6. Localization problem in RichFaces 4 (JSF 2)
jbalunas Apr 5, 2011 10:03 AM (in response to iabughosh)I'll be sure to bring this up with the JSF Expert Group, and make sure this is covered, or at least discussed. It might be more implementation specific ( MyFaces, Mojarra ), but I'll explore it a bit when I can have the EG review.

moe.harb Jul 12, 2012 11:04 AM (in response to wish79)regarding the rtl and ltr you might add one key in your locale resource called "dir" or "lang" and use it in your body tag like for example <h:body dir="#{localeResource.lang =='ar' ? 'rtl':'ltr'}">
