rich:autocomplete is not working in IE9

Hello,

I've just updated my IE to version 9 and noticed that rich:autocomplete is not working anymore. It sends ajax requests to the backing bean as a type some text, but doesn't show any option to auto complete the text. My development environment is: Rich Faces 4.0 Final, JSF 2.0 and Tomcat 7.0.6.

I've also checked Rich Faces Showcase (http://richfaces-showcase.appspot.com/richfaces/component-sample.jsf?demo=autocomplete&skin=blueSky) and rich:autcomplete doesn't work there when I access using IE 9.

Is there any known issue about this?

Hi Ricardo,

thanks for reporting, autocomplete really doesn't work in IE9 in ajax and cachedAjax modes.

You can watch assigned issue [1] for progress.

You can still use mode=client.

Mojarra 2.0.6 is available for download since 06/03/2011, and with this new version the problem with rick:autocomplete in IE 9 doesn't occur anymore.
