aj4:support and status

i use a4j:support with event onblur for an inputtext, now i want to add a status component.

i use the code samples from

for my a4j:commandbuttons. they are working as expected. the loading image is shown.

but if i use status from a4j:support it isn't shown.

any ideas what the reason might be?

should works fine for any ajax component show your code please.

sorry it was a thumb error in my code....there was a == instead of !=...argh

no it works!

by the way...really nice feature
