1. rich:extendedDataTable in rich faces version 4 not showing filtering
ilya_shaikovsky Apr 13, 2011 4:27 AM (in response to ravi.kuchika)at first you not even defined filtering attributes.
and b.t.w. yes table for now does not provides built-in controls for filtering. We want to split functional responsibilities and review design ofptions based on external controls for next releases.
So two ways for now

2. rich:extendedDataTable in rich faces version 4 not showing filtering
ravi.kuchika Apr 13, 2011 6:39 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Hi,
Thanks for quick reply.
I have a requirement with column sorting, hiding columns, drag and drop of columns and multiple column sorting which I found in RF 3.3.3.
But when I started using that its not behaving as in the demo.
So I thought its got solved in RF 4.0. But in this version its not at all working. Its behaving as like a rich:datatable. Then what is the difference between these two. rich:datatable and rich:extendedDataTable.
for your statement : at first you not even defined filtering attributes
in 3.3.3 am not using any attributes..by default on click if the icon on the header it opens the options to sort and coumns hiding. Where am I doing wrong?
Please give me a solution so that it can satisfy my requirement.
Thanks
