Richfaces 4.0 problems

Hi,

  Why we are having difficulties in using RF4.0. Binding the components is not working, Rich components are not working as expected and so many.

Why is it so...Am very much comfortable in RF 3.3.3. But now am thinking to move on to RF 4.0 or not.

Please do advice me where am going wrong.

we did our best for 4.0.0 to contain high-quality components. Unfortunately we didn't find all bugs. We appreciate all community feedback so if you find a bug, please feel free to create a new topic in this forum or file an issue in Jira (https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF).

If 3.3.3 is fine for you, please wait for next version of 4.x and let us know about bugs so that we can fix them for you

Hi Pavol,

     In 3.3.3, Extendabel datatable works fine for the sorting,filtering,grouping of columns and hiding/showing. But i dont know why 4.0 is not working.

Extended data table works fine in RichFaces 4. You can try our testing application Metamer (http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/richfaces/modules/tests/metamer/trunk/) in which there are several samples for EDT (and other components).

To build the application, run "bash build.sh" which will create several jars in application/target directory. If you have further problems, please provide your code.
