1. Use mod_cluster 1.1.x on httpd 2.2.3 on RHEL 5.6
jfclere Apr 18, 2011 4:32 AM (in response to tim.peeters)Only the mod_proxy modules are not compatible.
You need to the mod_proxy sources in the mod_cluster and overwrite the httpd binaries but that is not an officially supported solution.

2. Use mod_cluster 1.1.x on httpd 2.2.3 on RHEL 5.6
tim.peeters Apr 18, 2011 4:41 AM (in response to jfclere)Ok great thanks!
So basically if we do not use mod_proxy (we planned on using AJP anyway), we should not experience any problems?
Or does it fail during startup if we don't replace mod_proxy?

You need to compile the mod_proxy modules in http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/mod_cluster/trunk/native/mod_proxy/.
It might start if you don't replace mod_proxy modules but it won't work.
