Per MODE-1153, I just created a new Git repository in the ModeShape community on GitHub to house some examples of using ModeShape. Currently, there is a simple project that shows how to embed ModeShape into a (trival) application. Feel free to add more examples - just fork on GitHub and create pull-requests.
Note that we do not plan to release any of this code. It basically is there to make it easy for Git users to download some examples and play with them.
