1. Richfaces 4 inplaceInput saveing values to bean?
ilya_shaikovsky Apr 20, 2011 5:09 AM (in response to jonask)Do you see actual request sent? (check firebug console)
add rich:messages to the page.
if that works if you will change inplace to just h:inputText?

2. Re: Richfaces 4 inplaceInput saveing values to bean?
jonask Apr 20, 2011 5:32 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)firebug console says: POST "my adress" 200OK
when entering a value and pressing enter.
i added rich:messages like that (adding a colunm)
<rich:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="AttributWert" /> </f:facet> <rich:inplaceInput id="wertInput" layout="block" value="#{item.attributWert}"> <a4j:ajax event="change" render="table"/> </rich:inplaceInput> </rich:column> <rich:column> <rich:messages for="wertInput"/> </rich:column>
i changed rich:inplaceInput to h:inputText, but it still resets to the old values.

ilya_shaikovsky Apr 20, 2011 6:31 AM (in response to jonask)just checked and it works for me...
especially if you talking that even h:inputText not works seems the problem not at component level.
you added messages - if there are some after request?
