rich:panel as pop-up with dynamic content

HI,

I would like to have non-modal panel on top of application. I already managed to create this "pop-up" with <rich:panel> and it works fine, if I use it only for static content.
It I put table with filter inside, the problems begin. Any thing I click on that form (search button, table paging...), the panel window is closed.

How to refresh this panel window without closing it?




Any suggestions?

I have been asking the forum to solve a problem like you asked for.

Here is the solution provided, which is working perfectly for me:

After that, you could wrap the modal panel body inside <a4j:outputPanel> with an id, an reRender that id from any <a4j:commandLink> or <a4j:commandButton> etc.
