dataTable - invoke of walk() method and datamodel bean

Hello,

I have noticed that when adding a "command button" to submit my datatable via ajax - the walk() method is called be4 my data model bean is updated.

How can I make sure that my submitted data is updated in the data model bean be4 the walk() is invoked?

Basicly, I want to get some input from user - like sorting and filterring options and upon a click on "search" button I would like to submut the info to the server and rerender the data table.

What I see in the log file is that the "walk" method is getting called before the setters of the data bean are called with the new submited value.

How can this be fixed?

where did you call this ('walk') method ?

It's ok that data table is calling walk method before actual data update - this is done in order to get submitted data processed with the old filter/sort criterias and only after then switch to new ones.

Is there a way to invoke the "walk" method again? after the submited data was updated in the data model bean?

It should be invoked once again after model update when table is rendered.
