2. rich:hotkey not included in RichFaces 4 final ?
pewal Apr 14, 2011 8:26 PM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Please Ilya, can you provide us an example?
If I have an input text and command button such as:
<h:inputText value="#{searchBean.searchedText}" id="myInputText" required="true" >
<f:validateLength minimum="3"/>
</h:inputText>
<a4j:commandButton value="Search" action="#{searchBean.search}" reRender="resultPanel"
id="btnSearch" status="btnStatus" />
I want that when the user hits the "Enter" key while the focus is on the input text, the browser executes the action of the command button.
Can you write how we can do it with Richfaces 4 ?
Thank you,
Paolo

4. rich:hotkey not included in RichFaces 4 final ?
martind1111 May 4, 2011 7:54 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)What JavaScript code should we write to invoke previous/next page for a rich:dataScroller in RichFaces 4.0.0? In RichFaces 3.3.3, we could do the following:
rich:hotKey key="right" handler="Event.fire(#{rich:element('ds1')}, 'rich:dataScroller:onscroll', {'page': 'next'}); return false;"/>
If I use jQuery HotKeys, I will need to figure out the JavaScript code to execute to trigger previous/next page controls. I can't figure this out. Can you help?
Martin
