.rf-p-b {
padding: 0px;
background-color: green;
}
the background-color changes to green...but the padding is still 10px

it seems that this problem is browser-specific. I created a Jira for us to explore it more (https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-10973).
Could you please write us which browser (and version) are you using?

about the browser:i tried it under firefox 4 and ie7 and it didn't work without !important
