2. No mime type could be found for file fileUploadProgress.
asmart May 3, 2011 1:54 PM (in response to mattc1)This appeared to disappear for us.
Unless something else changed, the only thing I can recall doing different at the time was removing tomahawk from our project.
We stopped using it in favor of other rich faces tags.

3. No mime type could be found for file fileUploadProgress.
mattc1 May 3, 2011 2:45 PM (in response to asmart)We include the Tomahawk library as well in order to use a couple components that we can't get from Richfaces. I guess there must be something in the Tomahawk for JSF 2.0 that breaks the Richfaces fileupload. It appears that our handler for the upload is called but the browser appears to never complete. When looking at it in Fiddler we see an endless loop on calls to the fileUploadProgress resource.

lfryc May 5, 2011 3:34 AM (in response to asmart)Hi guys, at first, thanks for sharing this!
Could you please provide a small sample (preferably maven based) that will reproduce your issue?
Thanks, Lukas

5. No mime type could be found for file fileUploadProgress.
mattc1 May 6, 2011 3:47 PM (in response to lfryc)To reproduce this you only need to bundle the Tomahawk for JSF 2.0 with your application and then try to use the rich:fileUpload component in a page. That should do it.

8. No mime type could be found for file fileUploadProgress.
denebj May 9, 2011 6:18 PM (in response to asmart)Hello
After looking at the JIRA, I have the same issue (the looping problem, I get stuck on https://localhost:8443/rfRes/fileUploadProgress.jsf?ln=org.richfaces&rf_fu_uid_alt=0.31454627890407716)
I my case it is because I have the Pretty Faces framework.
If I remove the Pretty Faces framework, everything is working properly. I do not know if that could be related too - Maybe not but at least It worst the shot (The post : http://community.jboss.org/message/604297#604297)

9. Re: No mime type could be found for file fileUploadProgress.
monkata Oct 5, 2011 4:37 AM (in response to asmart)HI guys,
I have the same problem with RichFaces, which it's not related neither with including of libraries of Tomahawk or PrityFaces.
(the both platforms are not indluded in the applciation)
When I made some more investigations and trying to find reasons why this appears I saw that included JS not work.
On FireBug I saw next JS error:
"richfaces.BaseComponent is undefined "
which links -> " richfaces.ui.FileUpload = richfaces.BaseComponent.extendClass(" .
It's clear that JS is not recognized and this leads not working of fileUpload.
My question is: Does the same error also appear when you haveproblems with indluding of different platforms (like RichFaces and PrityFaces)
in one and same application ? If it's not, do you have some experiance with this and gives some advices how to managed this?
Thanks in advance
