pass actorids from processtest.java

hello everyone,

                 i'm executing the sample process evaluation.bpmn with 2 new variables #{hr} and #{pm} and i'm initializing the variables in the processTest.java as

...

params.put("hr","mary");

params.put("pm","john");

ksession.startProcess("com.sample.evaluation",params);

exceptions are thrown with the message "could not find variable scope for variable hr when trying to replace variable in string for work item human task".

how do i use variables hr and pm ?

Did you specify the variables hr and pm in the bpmn for the process scope as shown on the pic above (for variables map, modelNumber, quantity etc) ?

hi chris,

        no.i have not added the variables like that and i dont have a property called "variables" .i've attached the snapshots for properties of tasks, "employee evaluation" and "hr evaluation".all that i hav changed in the .bpmn file is the actorid from mary to #{hr} and i hav added the line params.put("hr","mary"); in the file ProcessTest.java.

... and i dont have any of the files seen in the snapshot namely,

ProcessOrder.ftl, SampleHumanTaskFormV, com.sample.bpmn.samp, SampleApprovalTask.ftl etc

            i tried adding the variables in the properties field and it works fine.
