how to not conserve switch state of collapsible panel

I want a collapsible panel always to be not expanded when the page reloads.

Initially it obeys the expanded="false" attribute, but once expanded, the state is preserved

between page reloads.

How can I achieve this?

Update: it happens only on a submit of the form that includes the panel.

The question remains the same.

point the attribute not to static variable but to some session bean property. then it will  preserve last state between requests.
