Set tab header backgound color

Hi !

I'm trying to set tab's header backgound color , but i could not find this property i used a css file in which i define background-color: "myColor" and specified it as styleClass for my control but all the content become blue for instance, not my background color from tab header.

Please if you have an ideea give me a hand.

there are activeTabClass and inactiveTabClass properties for rich:tabPanel and in CSS define your class something like

.tabClass{
background-image: none;
background-color: #FFFFFF; // any color code which you need
}

Hi !

Thank you very much for posting, i tryed your example it modifyes the tabs header color but also modifyes the color for the content background, the content of tab should remain white.
In my applicaton i have only tab for each tab panel , it is used such a panel, i think that this tab is active all the time, this fact could affect formatting ?

There is contentClass, you can specify CSS for content of a tab panel.
