display time between request and response

Hello,

Is there any way to get information in miliseconds between start and end time.

I have to make some test, and I want to display in page time when event is fired and time when event is completed

Something like a4j:stats but wih to messages or with time difference

e.q. When I click on tab I want to display message in miliseconds and when the page is reRendered I want to display and time in miliseconds

Hi Nikola,

just make a PhaseListener and add it to your faces-config.xml. You get notified on Submit (Phase RESTORE_VIEW) and you could take the time until render (before RENDER_RESPONSE). Then you can use the time to log it to sysout. After rendering is complete you can't modify the output or add to the output.

Just define it as popup and call whenerwer you need to monitor next request.
