jason.greene May 24, 2011 11:43 AM (in response to rareddy)Yes all of those should work for all deployments.

jesper.pedersen May 24, 2011 11:47 AM (in response to rareddy)resource-adapters subsystem - XSD is here: http://docs.jboss.org/ironjacamar/schema/resource-adapters_1_0.xsd

jesper.pedersen May 24, 2011 11:49 AM (in response to rareddy)Actually, you may want to consider doing the integration as a "shared library" approach.
See https://github.com/maeste/jboss-as/commit/787ae82770531c01b8277519ffe8354089e2935d as an example.

jesper.pedersen May 24, 2011 11:55 AM (in response to jesper.pedersen)Actually, let me expand on the last post.
It will basically allow you to have a <teiid> subsystem with your configuration, and then bridge that into the resource adapter services that you need...
HornetQ will be an example of that.

5. Re: How to deploy a RAR file and define its external dependencies?
rareddy May 24, 2011 6:21 PM (in response to jesper.pedersen)Thanks Jesper and Jason.
Yes, the manifest mechanism is best fit for me.
Jesper, I do not think I want deploy as the shared library. Teiid sub-system as itself does not really need resource adapter services. The Teiid deployment artifacts need access to them. Also user can deploy their own too. I think what you have through standard rar deployer may just work fine. The test example gave me starting point for XML for connection-factory.
Thanks.
