HowTo rich:dataTable Excel export

Hello,

I have the following problem:

The user have a rich:dataTable with sortable and filterable headers. After the user sets the filter and the sorting he want an export to excel or cvs.

Is there an easy way to do this? If not - any suggestions?

I know how to export data to cvs but i dont know how to access the filter and sorting of the data table.

Any help and suggestions are welcome!
