livedemo progressBar code does not work

Seam 2.0.2-FP
RF 3.3.1.GA

The code (xhtml and JavaBean) in the livedemo:

does not work. I see 0% and then -1% when I click the button. The bar remains white with a blue border the entire time. Why and how to fix?

livedemo progressBar code does not work

I've checked both livedemo online and my local 3.3.2 snapshot. works fine.

I tried this:

@Name("progressBarBean")
@Scope(ScopeType.SESSION)
public class TestProgressBarBean {...}

and it works now.

The livedemo example is not (for obvious reasons!) using Seam annotations. So it's a JavaBean presumably in a non-Seam container (e.g. plain Tomcat servlet container).

Default scope is EVENT for JavaBean in Seam so that explains it (premature destruction of object/class instance).
