1. Re: several problems with a4j:status: stopText, onstop
snaker May 27, 2011 12:07 PM (in response to bcn)you must put a name inside status
<a4j:status name="status1" stopText="Email sent" onstop="alert('hi'); return false;">
and in a4j:commandButton add:
<a4j:commandButton action="#{loginBean.resetPassword}" value="submit" status="status1"/>

bcn May 27, 2011 1:59 PM (in response to snaker)Thanks for the reply.
I thought due to the show case ("Status Simple"), within a form, you don't need name/status.
The name/status makes the onstop script work, but the stop text is nevertheless shown already on page load.

nbelaevski May 28, 2011 2:38 PM (in response to bcn)Hi,
stopText is shown when request is not in progress, so it's shown on the initial page load.
I've tried your code and onstop works ok for me even when I do not specify status name.

4. Re: several problems with a4j:status: stopText, onstop
bcn May 30, 2011 8:15 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Ok I understand. It could be made clearer in the documentation.
So I'll use the javascript to set a end-of-process text.
Thanks!
