1. Re: jBPM process flow can design using drools Guvnor
eaa May 27, 2011 7:32 AM (in response to stsivarajjboss)Sure you can. Guvnor now comes with an oryx-based bpmn editor that you can use to define your processes.

stsivarajjboss May 31, 2011 9:22 AM (in response to eaa)Great Thanks Aliverti..
One quick question, Is it possible to bring oryx-based bpmn editor in my web based application(like MyEclipse Swing/Awt pallette). My aim is bring that editor with drag and drop option in my application.

leon_ May 31, 2011 9:25 AM (in response to stsivarajjboss)The oryx-based BPMN editor comes in a .war-file, designer.war. So it should be possible. But I do not know the details, only that Guvnor also has the integrated designer.war somewhere in its own .war-file.

eaa May 31, 2011 1:16 PM (in response to stsivarajjboss)As leon_ mentioned, you can just use the designer.war file in your app. The editor lets you create .bpmn2 files by draging and dropping components from a pallete.
If you follow this approach, you will need to handle the persistence of your processes.
If you are already using guvnor, and you want to embedd its editor in your application letting guvnor to handle persistence, versioning and distribution, you can use this new feature present in Drools 5.2: http://ilesteban.wordpress.com/2010/11/23/guvnor-embed-assets-editor-in-your-application/
You can get more information here: http://surdilovic.wordpress.com/2011/04/06/integrate-oryx-designer-and-guvnor-in-your-own-applications/

stsivarajjboss Jun 13, 2011 8:17 AM (in response to eaa)Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I go though that two links. I have downloaded design.war file from http://people.redhat.com/tsurdilo/oryx/1.0.0.051/ this link.
I have deployed in tomcat6.14 but it is not running. I don't know where i put the design.war.
My doubt is, Is it necessary to run jboss server for get the Drool Editor. or Is there any other way to bring drool editor in my application.
