why use jboss on linux or unix over windows

    blacktux

      Hi,

My work place is about to replace a large 100+ windows dot net environment with a java product but they wish to install JBoss on Windows. I am long time fan of Redhat, Solaris and HPUX. I have been trying to find a good example and benchmark to push JBoss on to redhat linux environment, I've looked at number of performanace tuning pdfs which say redhat and seen the benchmark specs and even spoken to Redhat Australia but I can't find any good reasons why no to use Windows and win the fight.

Any help on this would be great.

      JB
