We are developing a highly available , data intensive and access intensive application enablement framework to be deployed on a cloud environment. The technologies we are planning to use are Java / J2EE and MySQL as a database. The target web application platform would be JBOSS App server.
We are hearing about some performance issues on JBOSS when hosted on a cloud infrastructure, though we have not been able to confirm that. Has anyone in the group had similar experiences and if so, what are the aspects to be considered? Would you have suggestions of any other J2EE application framework, considering our requirements.
