Hi everybody,
I've migrated from JBoss4.2.3 to JBoss 6.
What I miss in JBoss6 are the lifycycle methods (create, start, stop, destroy) of Mbeans in the jmx-console. In JBoss 4.2.3 they were accessible in every Mbean, so you could stop and start a single Bean without redeploying the whole ear/jar.
Sometimes I need this functionality, so my question: Is there the possibility to access those lifecycle-methods? Mabe in a different way, maybe it is possible to switch them on by setting an option in a xml-configuration-file?
Please advice.
Thank you!
Chris
Some things may have changed, so it is not possibile to stop a Bean anymore.
But, please, explain.
Is it wrong/grubby to stop/start a Bean without redeploying?
Thanks a lot for a little bit of explanation!
Chris
