We currently the possibility of multiple backups with shared store. We're still moving on re-enabling replication.. that's something we may try. I'm not sre about hierarchically though.

The hirarchical could let users specify their own failover /backup behavior by even though having the possibility to replicate to all cluster nodes. This could probably replace the plain total replication.
