Usability of Weld?

On Thursday last week I submitted https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-1032. I came over to this issue when I tried to migrate the RESTful part of my EAR to JBoss 7.

Now I made the first attempt of the web part (JSF, CDI/Weld, RichFaces) and the same NPE occures in org.jboss.as.weld.ejb.Jsr299BindingsInterceptor.getInterceptorBindings() in line 108, and AS7-1032 is still unchanged...

OK, I'll try to compose a testcase (hoping that it is not just archived as it happened with 3 testcases for JBoss 6...)

Which are those JIRAs? We do have plans for 6.1.0 release, so we can take a look at those.

There is e.g. https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBAS-8860 which is also related to Weld.

This NPE is now fixed in AS7 upstream. Let us know if you get it working with the latest snapshot.
