1. Re: JNDI browser?
jaikiran Jun 30, 2011 7:50 AM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)JNDI browser isn't yet implemented. There was a JIRA for that somewhere. Let me check.
As for the UserTransaction JNDI name, where are you trying to use it?

2. Re: JNDI browser?
juergen.zimmermann Jun 30, 2011 9:08 AM (in response to jaikiran)I want to encapsulate the JUnit / Arquillian test methods so that each test method is a single transaction. In JBoss 6 days I basically was doing:
In the (inherited) @Before method:
Context ctx = null;
try {
ctx = new InitialContext();
trans = (UserTransaction) ctx.lookup("java:comp/UserTransaction");
}
finally {
ctx.close();
}
trans.begin();Inside @After:
if (trans != null && trans.getStatus() == Status.STATUS_ACTIVE) {
trans.commit();

3. Re: JNDI browser?
f_marchioni Jun 30, 2011 11:48 AM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)Hi,
from the JConsole utility (part of J2SE distribution), you can inspect the jboss.naming MBean domain, which contains the JNDIView MBean. Invoke the list method to get a JNDI dump.

Francesco

6. Re: JNDI browser?
madchedar0 May 10, 2012 1:45 PM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)I'm on JBoss 7.1.1 and I think this is what you're looking for?
http://localhost:9990/console/App.html#naming
That at least gives the JNDI bindings
