modify properties file in jboss5 conf directory?

hi,

i want to deploy a jsf application that lets one modify settings of a property file, which i want to put in the jboss conf folder. now the user should be able to edit those settings and save the file, which apparently can't be done with jboss5 ??

i tested the application with tomcat and jetty and both i had no problems writing the file back to disk, but somehow i get weird erros with jboss5 :-/

do i have to give some special permissions inside of the jboss to make the file user-editable?
