Fair warning, I'm new to messing with Application Servers in any detailed way so sorry if this is documented somewhere and I haven't found it.
So, we're currently using 4.0.1, which is ancient, so we want to upgrade. Yay! But our current deployment only uses ~70mb of memory and when I deploy on JBossAS7 it uses almost 300mb. Not so yay.
I've been looking thru configuration options and trying to turn things off or somehow shrink the memory usage, but like I said I'm very new to server management and can't seem to find how to do it. Any advice?
We've got a web service, that's deployed on the internal tomcat for our current 4.0 deployment, and a HSQL database.
